Anti-Vax petition spreading around Cayman Islands.

(RCN) A petition with the title “The Right to Choose to be Unvaccinated,” is being circulated on social media in the Cayman Islands. The petition has 335 (at the time of writing) signatures, with a goal of getting 500 signatures.

The petition organisers are concerned about the Cayman Islands Government mandating Covid-19 vaccines, and have called for alternative measures to be set in place.

The petitioners want the Government to purchase “Ivermectin” and “Hydroxychloroquine” to cure Covid-19. Both drugs are not safe to cure Covid-19, and will not cure Covid-19. The FDA has not approved ivermectin for use in treating or preventing COVID-19 in humans. Ivermectin tablets are approved at very specific doses for some parasitic worms, and there are topical (on the skin) formulations for head lice and skin conditions like rosacea. Ivermectin is not an anti-viral (a drug for treating viruses).

The petitioners also want the ingredients of the vaccine to be made public, but all of the vaccine companies have published their ingredients, none having fetus cells in the list.

The petition is full of other unproven conspiracies, such as “The PCR testing process is faulty and results in a high rate of false positives.” They also claim that the vaccine “has not been approved for public use (and following its approval, it should still only be administered voluntarily).” This is false, as the vaccine has been approved by the UK health regulatory body.

The petition is likely to get more signatures, as it is being shared across social media.
