Hundreds march in Cayman’s first Gay Pride Parade.

On Saturday 31st of July 2021, the Cayman Islands made history by having their very first Gay Pride Parade organized by Noel Cayasso-Smith the founder of the LGBTQ+ foundation.

Hundreds of Colorful people gathered to celebrate the LGBTQ+ community. Participants began the march at Seven Mile Beach where they continued on to Palm Heights on West Bay Road. The community had many supporters amongst them, including Governor Martyn Roper, Premier Wayne Panton and MP Barbra Connolly.

This Historic event is one of Cayman’s first of many strides to be placed on an equal international footing towards positive change.
