Seven Mile Beach disappearing in front of our eyes.

(RCN) Popular tourist destination Seven Mile Beach, is disappearing, due to Coastal Erosion. Parts of the beach have completely disappeared, and the water mark is up to several beach side properties. Activists are concerned that the new developments being built on the Seven Mile corridor will have major affects on the environment.

The erosion could leave permanent damage on the beach, and the multimillion dollar properties on the beach could be damaged if there are any natural disasters.

Premier Wayne Panton, who ran on a platform of sustainability, wants to slow down development, with the goal of saving Seven Mile Beach.
